Manage Resident Maintenance Requests in FM Link
Updated over a week ago

When a Resident raises a Maintenance Request through the Resident App or an Admin raises a Maintenance Request through the Admin Portal they will end up in Requests > Resident Requests.

The Reason it is separate from the Maintenance list is because not all resident requests may become Maintenance items and having a separate view allows for easier management of the requests.

Manage Resident Maintenance Requests

There are two common options when dealing with a Resident Maintenance Request in FM Link

  1. Create a Work Order from the Resident Maintenance Request

  2. Get a Quote before Creating the Work Order from the Maintenance Request

Create a Work Order

To Create a Work Order go to Requests > Resident Requests > Click 3 Dots > Click Create Work Order.

When the work order has been created it can then be edited and updated. An Article on how to do this is located here.
