If you're having trouble logging-in while at the authentication page, there are a few common problems that can be fixed by following these easy steps.
- Please ensure your form is valid before logging in
"Please ensure your form is valid before logging in"
If you receive this error message, it means the email is entered incorrectly. Try these steps:
- Ensure there is no space at the end of the email
Click to the right of the email. If there is a space between the last letter and the cursor, press the delete button on your keyboard.
- Remove any excess characters at the end of the email
If you have any full stops or commas at the end, this will not work
- Ensure your password is correct
As passwords need to be 6 characters long, if you spelt it incorrect and only include 5 characters, this error will occur.
"There is no user record corresponding to this identifier"
This message means that the email format is correct, but most likely spelt incorrectly.
- Check your email is spelt correctly
This includes the parts before and after the @ symbol. For example, firstname.lastname@example.org instead of email@example.com will not work.
"The password is invalid"
If the system says your password was incorrect, try these steps:
- Show password
Click the view password button to ensure your password was entered correctly.
- Ensure cases are correct
Passwords are case sensitive, so if you used an uppercase letter in your password, you'll need to include it here.
- Reset your password
If you're still having issues logging in, you can reset your password by clicking the reset password link at the bottom of the page.
