Create a Maintenance Item from Site Inspector App

There are 2 ways to create a Maintenance Item from the site inspector app:

  1. Create a Maintenance Item from an Inspection

  2. Create a Maintenance Item from the Maintenance Page

This article will go through what each section looks like and explain which fields require lists to be populated and their location.

Create a Maintenance Item from an Inspection

Start Inspection

To Start an Inspection log in to the App and go to Home > Start Inspection > Begin Inspection.

Create Maintenance Item from Inspection

During the Inspection, to create Maintenance Item go to the Checklist Item requiring the Maintenance Item > Click Carrot to expand the Check list Item > Click Create New

Fill in Maintenance Item Details

Fill in the "Maintenance Category(Optional)" and "Status of Maintenance" and then click Save Maintenance.

Note that files uploaded and comments made in the inspection will also come across in the maintenance item.

"Maintenance Category(Optional)" can be populated in FM Link > Site > Tag List Editors > (Quote / Work Order / Defect) Types

"Status of Maintenance" can be populated in FM Link > Site > Tag List Editors > (Quote / Work Order / Defect) Statuses

When the Maintenance Item is save it is then Stored on the Maintenance page

Create a Maintenance Item from the Maintenance Page

Create Maintenance Item

To create a Maintenance Item go to Maintenance Page> Click Add New Maintenance

Fill in Maintenance Item Details

Once the Maintenance Item is created fill in all the details

Camera can be used to take a photo and then upload that picture to the Maintenance item.

"Type of Maintenance" can be populated in FM Link > Site > Tag List Editors > (Quote / Work Order / Defect) Types

"Status of Maintenance" can be populated in FM Link > Site > Tag List Editors > (Quote / Work Order / Defect) Statuses

When the Maintenance Item is save it is then Stored on the Maintenance page
