Updated over 3 years ago

Once a Request has been created there are 3 common options for next steps.

  • Change the Status

  • Create a Work Order

  • Create a Quote

Manage Maintenance Requests

Note: At any stage you wish to make edits or add notes, this can be done for the Maintenance Request, this can also be done for Work Orders and Quote Requests

Change Status

To Change the Status, Go to Requests > Maintenance List > click on the Status for that particular request.

The Status can then be changed to the current status the request is in.

Once the request has been complete, change the status to complete and tick Mark Item closed?. This will close the request and move it to the Closed Tab

Create a Work Order

To Create a Work Order from a Maintenance Request go to Requests > Maintenance List > click on the 3 Dots > click To new Work Order

Then choose to change the status of the request. The common Status that is chosen at this stage is "Work Order Raised"

When the work order has been created it can then be edited and updated. An Article on how to do this is located here.

Create a Quote Request

To Create a Quote Request go to Requests > Maintenance List > click on the 3 Dots > click To new Quote

Then choose to change the status of the request. The common Status that is chosen at this stage is "Quote Raised"

When the quote has been created it can then be edited and updated. An Article on how to do this is located here.
