Using the File Browser

This article will discuss how to upload files for the Residents to view

The file browser is a place to store all your buildings documents and files, and share them with desires groups of users.

Note: if you are using integration with StrataMax and PIQ you should using the document integration instead.

Getting started

To get started go to Site > File Browser

Creating folders

To begin with, it'll be useful to create folders for all your files in order to keep an organised system.

You can also create folders within folders.

  1. Navigate to the page you wish to create a new folder on
    This can be done by double-clicking on any existing folders

  2. Click New Folder

  3. Enter the name of the folder and click Create Folder

By double clicking on a folder it will take you into that folder, allowing you to create a folder within the folder.

Uploading Documents

File Rules:

- Files must type .PDF or .pdf

- File must not include a semicolon in the file name

- File size must not exceed 7.5mb

When you are in the location you require, click on the upload file button and then upload the file.

Setting permissions

To limit which users can see the files or folder, you can set permissions.

To do this select the item and then click the Set Permissions
